White Linen perfume is a scent produced by Estee Lauder. The White Linen perfume line includes two other scents as well, Pure White Linen and Pure White Linen Light Breeze.
A classic scent and long-time best seller, White Linen perfume hit the market in 1978. The perfume was known for its crisp, fresh scent, which was appropriate for both day and night time.
Estee Lauder has a huge line of fragrances now, including their Pleasures and Beyond Paradise lines, Beautiful, Cinnabar, Dazzling, Intuition, Spellbound and Tuscany Per Donna.
There are also men's fragrances that include cologne sprays and after shaves in the Pleasures line, Beyond Paradise Men, Intuition for Men and Lauder for Men.
White Linen Perfume
A fresh, floral scent, White Linen perfume is an incredibly popular fragrance that is meant to evoke a Spring day. It is sold as an eau de parfum spray, a body creme, body lotion, baby powder and a bath and shower gel.
The top notes for White Linen perfume are Bulgarian rose, jasmine and muguet. The middle notes are violet and orris. The base notes are vetiver, moss and amber.
Pure White Linen Perfume
A warmer fragrance than the original White Linen perfume, Pure White Linen is a more modern floral scent. It is sold as an eau de parfum spray, body lotion and a body wash.
The top notes for Pure White Linen perfume are Italian mandarin, cool fresh air accord, rasperry, dewy greens and white freesia.
The middle notes are red tulip, rose absolute, wild honeysuckle and gardenia petals. The base notes are white cedarwood, patchouli and white heliotrope.
Pure White Linen Light Breeze
Fruitier in scent than its counterparts, Pure White Linen Light Breeze is sold as an eau de parfum spray and a body lotion. It had more citrus and woodsy notes than White Linen perfume and Pure White Linen perfume.
The top notes for Pure White Linen Light Breeze are Darjeeling tea accord, Italian bergamot, orange zest, white grapefruit and watery kumquat.
The middle notes are osmanthus, linden flowers, neroli petals, centifolia rose and yellow freesia. The base notes are cedarwood, teak wood, soft skin accord and acacia honey.
Discontinued Products
Estee Lauder also produced a few limited edition Pure White Linen perfume products, including a Christmas themed "Holiday Star" compact that contained a solid version of the perfume.
Limited edition and discontinued products can thankfully be found on the Estee Lauder website if there are still some quantities available.
